So I tore my steering column apart to replace the ignition lock cylinder so that the doors and ignition use the same key. I’ve taken it apart enough times that it was only mildly frustrating. Sure the old cylinder came apart in my hand as I was pulling it out, but that was a minor worry. What is really a pain in the ass is that I got it all back together and now my turn signals don’t work. I r master mechanic.

Huh... maybe whatever thing in the steering wheel that shuts off the turn signal when rotating back to the straight ahead position got messed up and is now preventing them from engaging?

Yeah, I’m going to have to dig back in to it and see what’s up. When I move the lever I can feel it click into position so there’s nothing physically blocking the movement but there might be a broken wire or a multitude of other things that I screwed up.
